Literally thousands of worn industrial parts can be salvaged with chroming and grinding.

Worn seal journals, out of tolerance bearing journals, process rolls, damaged hydraulic rods and rotary manifolds are just a few examples of parts that will in most cases perform better and last longer after salvaging with chrome.

New parts such as bed plates, knurled rolls and chipper heads used in the wood industry are routinely chromed before they are put into service to extend their life span.

An in house industrial batch oven is used for post plating heat treatment of high tensile parts as required per SAE- AMS QQ C 320 Type 1, Class 2.

Mainland has been certified by Lloyds Register since 2001 for chroming of parts on Lloyds classed ships.
